Dell Black Friday Sales

I think, at least for me, one of the best things about black friday is the sales on technology. So many camp out in lines just to get their hands on that $200 laptop, (of which the store has only 2 and half!) or that 42" lcd for $350, or whatever the crazy deal is.

Wha't So Special About Black Friday?

I really don't know when it started....all I know is, I can remember back as a young kid, my mom, and aunts, grandmother, etc, would all plan their attack on the night of Thanksgiving! They get out the sale ads and mark their course, mapping out all the stores they need to hit.

You think it's a game? They are SERIOUS! They even break up the group by strengths! If there is something someone needs, and they know they will need a runner, the faster sisters get to the front of the group so they can run through the store!

I've never went, it's a "ladies thing" in my family, they do it to bond, shop, and have fun.

My dad went on his own once, to buy a turkey fryer, he said he'll never go again lol.

Any of you go out into the sea of crazed shoppers the day after thanksgiving?

Black Friday 2008 Is Coming

All the crazed bargain shoppers will be out with their campers, hot cocoa, and their ad clippings this Friday!

The time has once again come for us to witness the marvelous, majestic, and down right funny event most have dubbed "Black Friday"

I've also heard it called "The Day After Thanksgiving Sale" sorta sounds like 'The Day After Tomorrow". Not too far from the truth, this day is pretty catastrophic in it's effect on people!

I would love to see the numbers of what is spent on that day alone! I bet it's huge! For those that don't like to get out there and rub elbows with all the serious shoppers, but still want some deals, there is hope!

Yes, for those of us who would prefer to shop online, there are many stores that offer some pretty cool online deals. But, nothing beats getting out there Thursday night just to wait in line and find out you missed the thing you waited all night for right?

Maybe you just enjoy the experience!
